October New Releases

Hi Guys! Ellie here...You may be very confused because I totally forgot about October New releases, in fact at the beginning of October I didn't even register that it was a new month, but now I am fully aware (you will be pleased to know) and here is your belated New Releases for October!

20821111

THE YOUNG ELITES

I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside.

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. Her cruel father believes she is a malfetto, an abomination, ruining their family’s good name and standing in the way of their fortune. But some of the fever’s survivors are rumored to possess more than just scars—they are believed to have mysterious and powerful gifts, and though their identities remain secret, they have come to be called the Young Elites.

Teren Santoro works for the king. As Leader of the Inquisition Axis, it is his job to seek out the Young Elites, to destroy them before they destroy the nation. He believes the Young Elites to be dangerous and vengeful, but it’s Teren who may possess the darkest secret of all.

Enzo Valenciano is a member of the Dagger Society. This secret sect of Young Elites seeks out others like them before the Inquisition Axis can. But when the Daggers find Adelina, they discover someone with powers like they’ve never seen.

Adelina wants to believe Enzo is on her side, and that Teren is the true enemy. But the lives of these three will collide in unexpected ways, as each fights a very different and personal battle. But of one thing they are all certain: Adelina has abilities that shouldn’t belong in this world. A vengeful blackness in her heart. And a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.

It is my turn to use. My turn to hurt.

Knowing Marie Lu she would never disappoint and with a blurb shadowing her previous trilogy, I am very excited to read reviews on this book and to indulge in a new world that Lu has created.

BLACK ICE

Sometimes danger is hard to see... until it’s too late.

Britt Pfeiffer has trained to backpack the Teton Range, but she isn't prepared when her ex-boyfriend, who still haunts her every thought, wants to join her. Before Britt can explore her feelings for Calvin, an unexpected blizzard forces her to seek shelter in a remote cabin, accepting the hospitality of its two very handsome occupants—but these men are fugitives, and they take her hostage.

In exchange for her life, Britt agrees to guide the men off the mountain. As they set off, Britt knows she must stay alive long enough for Calvin to find her. The task is made even more complicated when Britt finds chilling evidence of a series of murders that have taken place there... and in uncovering this, she may become the killer’s next target.

But nothing is as it seems in the mountains, and everyone is keeping secrets, including Mason, one of her kidnappers. His kindness is confusing Britt. Is he an enemy? Or an ally?
**SCREAMS** Finally another Becca Fitzpatrick book! I am so excited to read this and swoon (again..) over how Becca creates her world and her characters.

           TRUST ME I'M LYING

Julep Dupree tells lies. A lot of them. She’s a con artist, a master of disguise, and a sophomore at Chicago’s swanky St. Agatha High, where her father, an old-school grifter with a weakness for the ponies, sends her to so she can learn to mingle with the upper crust. For extra spending money Julep doesn’t rely on her dad—she runs petty scams for her classmates while dodging the dean of students and maintaining an A+ (okay, A-) average.

But when she comes home one day to a ransacked apartment and her father gone, Julep’s carefully laid plans for an expenses-paid golden ticket to Yale start to unravel. Even with help from St. Agatha’s resident Prince Charming, Tyler Richland, and her loyal hacker sidekick, Sam, Julep struggles to trace her dad’s trail of clues through a maze of creepy stalkers, hit attempts, family secrets, and worse, the threat of foster care. With everything she has at stake, Julep’s in way over her head . . . but that’s not going to stop her from using every trick in the book to find her dad before his mark finds her. Because that would be criminal.

So when I originally read the blurb for this book I thought it was strangely alike Heist Society by Ally Carter, but as it progressed it seemed more and more different. This book seems strangely edgy and mysterious.

17331828 TALON

Long ago, dragons were hunted to near extinction by the Order of St. George, a legendary society of dragon slayers. Hiding in human form and growing their numbers in secret, the dragons of Talon have become strong and cunning, and they're positioned to take over the world with humans none the wiser.

Ember and Dante Hill are the only sister and brother known to dragonkind. Trained to infiltrate society, Ember wants to live the teen experience and enjoy a summer of freedom before taking her destined place in Talon. But destiny is a matter of perspective, and a rogue dragon will soon challenge everything Ember has been taught. As Ember struggles to accept her future, she and her brother are hunted by the Order of St. George.

Soldier Garret Xavier Sebastian has a mission to seek and destroy all dragons, and Talon's newest recruits in particular. But he cannot kill unless he is certain he has found his prey: and nothing is certain about Ember Hill. Faced with Ember's bravery, confidence and all-too-human desires, Garret begins to question everything that the Order has ingrained in him: and what he might be willing to give up to find the truth about dragons.
I am not usually a Dragon Fan but if you want to try something new this is the book to buy! It will be full of fighting scenes and will be adventurous!

I hoped you enjoyed this update, there will be many more to come now that we are on half term (oh the joy!)

New Releases - SEPTEMBER 2014

I totally forgot all about New Releases until maths today, as you all know Celine did New Releases for August, so thanks C! September is a the start of the new school year, so that automatically means my reading and blogging will deteriorate, unfortunately but you'll all be pleased to know that I will be trying to fit blogging in as frequently as I can.

I'LL GIVE YOU THE SUN

Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

I really want to read this book, I love the storyline and the idea of having a twin is the coolest thing ever. I would love to read this book and find out why they became apart, if you don't already know I love reading about broken people and would love to see how the characters develop as well as the storyline. This is a must read for me!

20518838THE VAULT OF DREAMERS

The Forge School is the most prestigious arts school in the country. The secret to its success:  every moment of the students' lives is televised as part of the insanely popular Forge Show, and the students' schedule includes twelve hours of induced sleep meant to enhance creativity. But when first year student Rosie Sinclair skips her sleeping pill, she discovers there is something off about Forge. In fact, she suspects that there are sinister things going on deep below the reaches of the cameras in the school. What's worse is, she starts to notice that the edges of her consciousness do not feel quite right. And soon, she unearths the ghastly secret that the Forge School is hiding—and what it truly means to dream there.

This sounds enticing and interesting and I judging by the blurb I would love to read this book. It reminds me of the Hunger Games without the gore, which is always a good thing. I would love to read this book and feel myself delve deeper into the storyline and uncover this secret that The Forge is hiding. Did I mention, the cover is beautiful!

THE IRON TRIAL

From two bestselling superstars, a dazzling and magical middle-grade collaboration centering on the students of the Magisterium, an academy for those with a propensity toward magic. In this first book, a new student comes to the Magisterium against his will -- is it because he is destined to be a powerful magician, or is the truth more twisted than that? It's a journey that will thrill you, surprise you, and make you wonder about the clear-cut distinction usually made between good and evil

This book sounds exciting! I have heard so much about it, and I am very excited to get my hands on a copy. The collaboration is unreal, I mean Holly Black, whose books I haven't read but she was one of the people involved in Unicorns vs Zombies (she was team Unicorn of course) and Cassandra Clare who I have read The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments series. I am very excited to see how this book is written, and how the world is created.

18163646FALLING INTO PLACE

On the day Liz Emerson tries to die, they had reviewed Newton’s laws of motion in physics class. Then, after school, she put them into practice by running her Mercedes off the road.

Why? Why did Liz Emerson decide that the world would be better off without her? Why did she give up? Vividly told by an unexpected and surprising narrator, this heartbreaking and nonlinear novel pieces together the short and devastating life of Meridian High’s most popular junior girl. Mass, acceleration, momentum, force—Liz didn’t understand it in physics, and even as her Mercedes hurtles toward the tree, she doesn’t understand it now. How do we impact one another? How do our actions reverberate? What does it mean to be a friend? To love someone? To be a daughter? Or a mother? Is life truly more than cause and effect? Amy Zhang’s haunting and universal story will appeal to fans of Lauren Oliver, Gayle Forman, and Jay Asher.

This book sounds like a darker version of the teen contemporary novels that many of us have read, I am so intrigued that I may have to go and order it. I actually saw this book on my Facebook because I follow Epic reads, they has 50 books you have to read and this was on it but I didn't look into it. However now? Amy Zhang you have my full attention and maybe my money too.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed Septembers new releases, I certainly did and I think we have a strong list here!

New Releases - AUGUST 2014

13644055It's August! Does everyone know what this means? Only one more month of summer! *cries*
Anyway, Ellie normally does the New Releases but as she is in Portugal, staying in a luxurious villa and enjoying the sun and sea, I will be doing August New Releases on behalf of her.

OPPOSITION

Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Release date: August 5th 2014
Format: Paperback

Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came. She can’t believe Daemon stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.

MY THOUGHTS
Both Ellie and I are majorly excited to read the fifth and final installment to the Lux series. All of our unanswered questions in Origin will be answered and I'm sure there will be more action than ever! While some of us are sad to see the end of the series, there has been no question over how much we have come to love all the characters, the story and plot, and of course, Jennifer L. Armentrout. I think a few tears here and there will be shed.

MAGNOLIA

Author: Kristi Cook
Release date: August 5th 2014
Format: Paperback

In Magnolia Branch, Mississippi, the Cafferty and Marsden families are southern royalty. Neighbors since the Civil War, the families have shared vacations, holidays, backyard barbecues, and the overwhelming desire to unite their two clans by marriage. So when a baby boy and girl were born to the families at the same time, the perfect opportunity seemed to have finally arrived.

Jemma Cafferty and Ryder Marsden have no intention of giving in to their parents’ wishes. They’re only seventeen, for goodness’ sake, not to mention that one little problem: They hate each other! Jemma can’t stand Ryder’s nauseating golden-boy persona, and Ryder would like nothing better than to pretend stubborn Jemma doesn’t exist.

But when a violent storm ravages Magnolia Branch, it unearths Jemma’s and Ryder’s true feelings for each other as the two discover that the line between love and hate may be thin enough to risk crossing over.

MY THOUGHTS

Hmm... there is a fine line between love and hate. This book doesn't scream, 'Pick me up and read me pronto', at me and I mostly just picked this because, a) we all know that Ellie is a sucker for cliché romances, b) the name Ryder is pretty hot, and c) most other YA books for August were a part of a book series that I haven't read.

THE UNFINISHED LIFE OF ADDISON STONE

Author: Adele Griffin

Release date: August 12th 2014
Format: Hardcover

From the moment she stepped foot in NYC, Addison Stone’s subversive street art made her someone to watch, and her violent drowning left her fans and critics craving to know more. I conducted interviews with those who knew her best—including close friends, family, teachers, mentors, art dealers, boyfriends, and critics—and retraced the tumultuous path of Addison's life. I hope I can shed new light on what really happened the night of July 28.

MY THOUGHTS

Adele Griffin the author of many books that are on my to-read list and when I saw another one of her books with another intriguing cover, I knew that it was going to be another addition to my list. I don't really read biographies but as this is a false biography with Adele Griffin narrating it, how can I turn it down?

17371524
FORGET ME

Author: K. A. Harrington
Release date: August 14th 2014
Format: eBook

On the three-month anniversary of her boyfriend Flynn’s death, Morgan uploads her only photo of him to FriendShare to get some closure—but she’s shocked when the facial recognition software suggests she tag him as "Evan Murphy." She’s never heard of Evan, but a quick search tells her that he lives in a nearby town and looks exactly like Flynn. Only this boy is very much alive.

Digging through layers of secrets and lies, Morgan is left questioning everything she thought she knew about her boyfriend, her town, and even her parents' involvement in this massive web of lies.

MY THOUGHTS

Yesssss! This gives off the creepy/mysterious/thriller vibe and I really, really, really need this book right now!

Dangerous Boys
DANGEROUS BOYS

Author: Abigail Haas
Release date: August 15th 2014
Format: Kindle Edition

Three teens venture into the abandoned Monroe estate one night; hours later, only two emerge from the burning wreckage. Chloe drags one Reznick brother to safety, unconscious and bleeding; the other is left to burn, dead in the fire. But which brother survives? And is his death a tragic accident? Desperate self-defense? Or murder?
Chloe is the only one with the answers. As the fire rages, and police and parents demand the truth, she struggles to piece together the story of how they got there-a story of jealousy, twisted passion, and the darkness that lurks behind even the most beautiful of faces…

MY THOUGHTS

I already love Haas' previous book: Dangerous Girls and after Ellie read it, we were on the phone for an hour talking about how brilliant and shocking the book was so I'm very prepared and for Dangerous Boys and all the twists Haas has in store for us. I cannot wait for this to come out and once again, amazing cover.

* * *

I know that 2/5 books have already been mentioned in a post Ellie previously did > here, but I had to do them for this post to emphasise how excited I am for them to come out and because they are both some of the most anticipated books to come out for August. And because I added two books that have already been mentioned, I added another two new books to make up for it.

New Releases - JULY 2014

Wow, June has gone by so fast and now I'm Julying.
lets ignore that joke and carry on with the hottest new releases of July 2014...

18298225ON THE FENCE

Author: Kasie West
Release Date: July 1st 2014.
Format: Paper back.
Blurb:

She's a tomboy. He's the boy next door…

Charlie Reynolds can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world. As she grows to depend on their nightly Fence Chats, she realizes she's got a bigger problem than speeding tickets-she's falling for Braden. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.

MY THOUGHTS

We are again starting the month with another very cliché storyline, where a girl fall sin love with a guy and they become undoubtedly in love forever and ever and they manage to stay together throughout everything, yada yada yada...
I love cliché books, you have no idea. So for me, this is a must read because I am very curious to see if it is what I think it is.

17182499ILLUSIVE

Author: Emily Lloyd -Jones
Release Date: July 15th 2014
Format: Hard cover.
Blurb:

When the MK virus swept across the planet, a vaccine was created to stop the epidemic, but it came with some unexpected side effects. A small percentage of the population developed superhero-like powers. Seventeen-year-old Ciere Giba has the handy ability to change her appearance at will. She's what's known as an illusionist...She's also a thief.

After a robbery goes awry, Ciere must team up with a group of fellow super-powered criminals on another job that most would consider too reckless. The formula for the vaccine that gave them their abilities was supposedly destroyed years ago. But what if it wasn't?

The lines between good and bad, us and them, and freedom and entrapment are blurred as Ciere and the rest of her crew become embroiled in a deadly race against the government that could cost them their lives.

MY THOUGHTS

The cover is awesome, for some reason even though I haven't read the book I think it fits really well to the blurb. I'm not entirely sure whether I would read this or not, if you're a fan of action it seems to be a must read.

18812437LETS GET LOST

But it is during Leila's own 4,268-mile journey that she discovers the most important truth— sometimes, what you need most is right where you started. And maybe the only way to find what you're looking for is to get lost along the way.

MY THOUGHTS

This sounds very exciting and I think if I was to read this book I would enjoy it a lot. It sounds gripping. I really like the cover, I think it reflects the storyline very well.

18667792

CONVERSATIONS

Author: Katherine Howe
Release Date: July 1st 2014
Format: Hard back
Blurb:

It’s senior year at St. Joan’s Academy, and school is a pressure cooker. College applications, the battle for valedictorian, deciphering boys’ texts: Through it all, Colleen Rowley and her friends are expected to keep it together. Until they can’t.

First it’s the school’s queen bee, Clara Rutherford, who suddenly falls into uncontrollable tics in the middle of class. Her mystery illness quickly spreads to her closest clique of friends, then more students and symptoms follow: seizures, hair loss, violent coughing fits. St. Joan’s buzzes with rumor; rumour blossoms into full-blown panic.

Soon the media descends on Danvers, Massachusetts, as everyone scrambles to find something, or someone, to blame. Pollution? Stress? Or are the girls faking? Only Colleen—who’s been reading The Crucible for extra credit—comes to realize what nobody else has: Danvers was once Salem Village, where another group of girls suffered from a similarly bizarre epidemic three centuries ago . . .

Inspired by true events—from seventeenth-century colonial life to the halls of a modern-day high school—Conversion casts a spell. With her signature wit and passion, New York Times bestselling author Katherine Howe delivers an exciting and suspenseful novel, a chilling mystery that raises the question, what’s really happening to the girls at St. Joan’s.

MY THOUGHTS

I think this book has an amazing storyline, after reading the first line of the blurb I thought it was going to be another teen high school book, but to my surprise its not. I like the fact that this illness is somewhat eradicating the caste system within the school, a must read.

Well I hope you all enjoyed July's new releases!

New Releases - JUNE 2014

Finally it is the delayed feature (only by seventeen days) feature of 'New Releases' for June 2014.

Enjoy.

18651924THE THINGS YOU KISS GOODBYE

Author: Leslie Connor
Release date: June 24th 2014
Format: Hard cover
Blurb:

Bettina Vasilis can hardly believe it when basketball star Brady Cullen asks her out, and she just about faints when her strict father actually approves of him.

But when school starts up again, Brady changes. What happened to the sweet boy she fell in love with? Then she meets a smoldering guy in his twenties, and this “cowboy” is everything Brady is not—gentle, caring, and interested in getting to know the real Bettina.

Bettina knows that breaking up with Brady would mean giving up her freedom—and that it would be inappropriate for anything to happen between her and Cowboy. Still, she can’t help that she longs for the scent of his auto shop whenever she’s anywhere else.

When tragedy strikes, Bettina must tell her family the truth—and kiss goodbye the things she thought she knew about herself and the men in her life.

Leslie Connor has written a lyrical, heartbreaking, and ultimately hopeful story about family, romance, and the immense power of love.

MY THOUGHTS

I haven't read a full on romance novel for what seems like ages and I feel that I should read it. But I am kind of torn between whether I should read it or not. I am very doubtful with this book but I will add it to my Goodreads 'to read' account and perhaps when I am doing a book buying spree I will buy it.

18599770

17 FIRST KISSES

Author: Rachael Allen
Release Date: 17th June 2014
Book format: ebook
Blurb:

No how many boys Claire kisses, she can’t seem to find a decent boyfriend. Someone who wouldn't rather date her gorgeous best friend, Megan. Someone who won’t freak out when he learns about the tragedy her family still hasn't recovered from. Someone whose kisses can carry her away from her backwoods town for one fleeting moment.

Until Claire meets Luke.

But Megan is falling for Luke, too, and if there’s one thing Claire knows for sure, it’s that Megan’s pretty much irresistible.

With true love and best friendship on the line, Claire suddenly has everything to lose. And what she learns—about her crush, her friends, and most of all herself—makes the choices even harder.

MY THOUGHTS

No, the theme is not romance.
This is just purely coincidental.

I think I am more likely to read this book than to read "The things you kiss goodbye."I don't know why but to me this seems like a real love story. Because just from reading the blurb there seems to be no love triangles. Do you realise how badly I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES. Oh my gosh.

18404113

COMPLICIT

Author: Stephanie Kuehn
Release Date: 24th June 2014
Format: Hardcover
Blurb:

Two years ago, sixteen-year-old Jamie Henry breathed a sigh of relief when a judge sentenced his older sister to juvenile detention for burning down their neighbor’s fancy horse barn. The whole town did. Because Crazy Cate Henry used to be a nice girl. Until she did a lot of bad things. Like drinking. And stealing. And lying. Like playing weird mind games in the woods with other children. Like making sure she always got her way. Or else.

But today Cate got out. And now she’s coming back for Jamie.

Because more than anything, Cate Henry needs her little brother to know the truth about their past. A truth she’s kept hidden for years. A truth she’s not supposed to tell.

MY THOUGHTS

Guess what.
This book sounds like it has no romance in it whatsoever...
Anyway this sounds absolutely thrilling. I love it in books where girls are the absolute badass, its so awesome and when I'm reading it I imagine that I have already broken all of these rules and am just reading about myself (when really I do nothing as badass as the badass girls in these super cool, badass books).
**takes award for saying badass the most in a sentence**

18667909INLAND

Author: Kat Rosenfield
Release Date: June 12th 2014
Format: Hard cover
Blurb:

Callie Morgan has long lived choked by the failure of her own lungs, the result of an elusive pulmonary illness that has plagued her since childhood. A childhood marked early by the drowning death of her mother—a death to which Callie was the sole witness. Her father has moved them inland, away from the memories of the California coast her mother loved so much and toward promises of recovery—and the escape of denial—in arid, landlocked air.

But after years of running away, the promise of a life-changing job for her father brings Callie and him back to the coast, to Florida, where Callie’s symptoms miraculously disappear. For once, life seems delightfully normal. But the ocean’s edge offers more than healing air … it holds a magnetic pull, drawing Callie closer and closer to the chilly, watery embrace that claimed her mother. Returned to the ocean, Callie comes of age and comes into a family destiny that holds generations of secrets and very few happy endings.

MY THOUGHTS

1. I hope you appreciate and realise how many people are raving and swooning over the cover of this book, it is amazing.
2. The story line sounds gripping (just from the blurb) it makes me want to scream. **adding it to 'need to read list' on Goodreads.

A/N: Next post will probably be; 'currently reading'. Stay seated.
Tfios comes out in England in two days **cries**

New Releases - May 2014

I think its that time again for me to apologise for the lack of posts, however I have exams next week and I've been very busy. But not to worry we only have four more weeks of school and then we will have eight weeks full of blog posts and reading. It sounds like heaven.

It is time for our very new feature; New releases, which has been done many time which I guess means it isn't as new as I'm making it out to be.
Lets crack on with new release for May 2014.

CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE.

Author: Cassandra Clare
Blurb:

ΕRCHOMAI, SEBASTIAN HAD SAID.

I am coming.

Darkness returns to the Shadowhunter world. As their society falls apart around them, Clary, Jace, Simon and their friends must band together to fight the greatest evil the Nephilim have ever faced: Clary’s own brother. Nothing in the world can defeat him — must they journey to another world to find the chance?

MY THOUGHTS;

I am currently reading this book and so far; its perfect. Cassandra Clare is a Queen and she is perfect at creating made up worlds. I mean just read the blurb, and she has already used a rhetorical question and mentioned four people's names. If you've read the first five thios is well worth a read.

15844362

THE ONE.

Author: Kiera Cass
Blurb:
The Selection changed America Singer's life in ways she never could have imagined. Since she entered the competition to become the next princess of Illéa, America has struggled with her feelings for her first love, Aspen--and her growing attraction to Prince Maxon. Now she's made her choice . . . and she's prepared to fight for the future she wants.
Find out who America will choose in The One, the enchanting, beautifully romantic third book in the Selection series!

MY THOUGHTS;

I have been raving about this book for ages, and eagerly awaiting the last book to the selection series. However it is not available in England yet and I haven't been able to read it. Which is very disappointing.

16143347WE WERE LIARS.

Author: E. Lockhart]
Blurb:

A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

MY THOUGHTS.

I recently read this book and finshed it. Its quite a short book with 225 pages, but such as strong story line. The characters were so vivid and the blurb is very mysterious. Well worth a read. I will do a review on it in the near future.

18143977ALL THE LIGHTS WE CANNOT SEE.

Author: Anthony Doerr
Blurb:

From the highly acclaimed, multiple award-winning Anthony Doerr, a stunningly ambitious and beautiful novel about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.

Marie Laure lives with her father in Paris within walking distance of the Museum of Natural History where he works as the master of the locks (there are thousands of locks in the museum). When she is six, she goes blind, and her father builds her a model of their neighborhood, every house, every manhole, so she can memorize it with her fingers and navigate the real streets with her feet and cane. When the Germans occupy Paris, father and daughter flee to Saint-Malo on the Brittany coast, where Marie-Laure's agoraphobic great uncle lives in a tall, narrow house by the sea wall.

In another world in Germany, an orphan boy, Werner, grows up with his younger sister, Jutta, both enchanted by a crude radio Werner finds. He becomes a master at building and fixing radios, a talent that wins him a place at an elite and brutal military academy and, ultimately, makes him a highly specialized tracker of the Resistance. Werner travels through the heart of Hitler Youth to the far-flung outskirts of Russia, and finally into Saint-Malo, where his path converges with Marie-Laure.

MY THOUGHTS:

I dint know whether I am one to read war books or not. I mean I have read my fair share of them and enjoyed them, but others I have read and stopped half way through.
I like the storyline and the two different people in different countries and all but I cannot tell you whether I would read it or not.

Fallen Too Far was Blaire's story. Now it's time for Rush to share his side.

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story...

Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

Until Blaire Wynn drives into town in her beat-up pickup truck with a pistol under her seat. The Alabama farm girl instantly captures Rush’s attention once he discovers that the angelic beauty is his new stepsister, but he vows to keep his distance. Even if she needs his help. Even if he craves her.

Because Rush knows why Blaire is all alone in the world, forced to ask for help from the father who abandoned her three years ago. And he knows if he gets too close it will destroy Nan, who has a secret connection to Blaire.

He has every reason in the world to stay away from her. Find out why he doesn’t

MY THOUGHTS;

This reminds me of a Wattpad story, and if you do not know already I love cliché wattpad story's. I'm not a big fan of the cover though, I don't like it when the main character is on the cover because I cannot imagine them as well.
